William Benjamin "Ben" Smith was an artist, printmaker, sculptor, and teacher. He is best known for creating very large woodblock prints. He also taught art at the Chastain Arts Center in Atlanta. His work are in the collections of the High Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum, Morris Museum, New Orleans, University of Kentucky, and Brown University, among many others.
