Miner was most active in the 1940s and 1950s. He attended Allegheny College in Pennsylvania and had a summer farm home/studio in Sandwich, New Hampshire, where he eventually moved full time. He was a silver and coppersmith as well as a painter and is best known for his watercolors of New Hampshire scenes, which were published in the Ford Times magazine in the 1950s.
